Trust & Transparency
Collective Shift sells research and education about a market full of people who are not honest. That puts the burden of proof on us, not on you. This page sets out what we are, what we deliberately do not do, what our team holds, and how to check every one of those claims against a source that is not us.
The boundary
What we provide, and what we do not
Collective Shift Pty Ltd is a research and education business. It is not a financial adviser, not a broker, and not a trading group. The distinction matters legally and it matters to what you should expect from a membership.
-
We publish factual information
Research reports, market commentary, fundamental and technical analysis, tutorials and frameworks, produced for a general audience.
-
We teach a process
How to research an asset, how to size a position, how to hold your own keys, and how to build a strategy you can actually follow.
-
We do not give personal advice
Nothing we publish takes your objectives, financial situation or needs into account. It cannot, because we are not assessing them.
-
We do not manage money or take payment to promote
We do not hold, trade or manage member funds, and we do not accept payment to feature a coin or a project.
Read this before you act on anything we publish
Cryptocurrency investing is extremely risky and speculative. Most cryptocurrencies are unregulated in Australia, and it is statistically possible that many will fail. Never invest more than you are willing to lose, and obtain independent legal, financial and taxation advice before making an investment decision.

Check the financial services registers
ASIC maintains public registers of Australian Financial Services licensees, authorised representatives and banned people. If a business offers financial products or advice, this is where you confirm it is entitled to.

We keep a public register of every account we actually run, and a list of the platforms we are not on at all. If someone contacts you from anywhere else, it is not us.

Learn what a regulator says about crypto
ASIC's MoneySmart explains which crypto assets are regulated in Australia, which are not, and what that means if something goes wrong. Worth reading before you buy anything.

Conflicts of interest
Every analyst publishes what they own
If someone tells you to look at an asset, you are entitled to know whether they hold it. Every full-time employee and content contributor at Collective Shift discloses their material cryptocurrency holdings publicly.
- A material holding is any position worth AU$2,000 or more.
- Full-time employee holdings are republished every week, with a change log naming what changed and when the next update is due.
- Content contributor holdings are updated quarterly.
- The register names the person and the assets, so you can weigh any piece of research against what its author owns.
- We do not accept payment to promote a coin or a project. Coverage is not for sale.
The people, and what stands behind them
Our team is named in full on one page, and the public record for the ones who appear in public is linked rather than described.
-
Everyone is named
The full team roster carries a name, a role, a written biography and a page of their own for every person, including the people who do not write research. Photographs are published for three of them so far.
-
Analysts appear on the holdings register
The same names appear on the weekly holdings disclosure, so an analyst's research and their positions can be read side by side.
-
Public appearances are linked, not claimed
Our founder's TEDx talk, the industry award, the partnership coverage and every interview are listed with a link to the source.
Every name, and the page it goes to
The roster in full, every person with a page of their own. All 14 carry a written biography, and 3 of them carry a photograph as well.

The 14-day money-back guarantee
New members are covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee, on every membership. The terms below are summarised from the refund policy, which is the document that governs it.
- The window is 14 days from purchase, for new members in their initial membership period.
- It is conditional, not automatic. What you need to have done to qualify differs by membership, and the refund policy is the only complete statement of it.
- Refunds are calculated pro rata against the services, content and extras you have already accessed.
- Requests are made by email with the subject line "Refund Request" from your membership email address.
- Refunds are processed within 21 days to the original payment method, less reasonable transaction costs.
- This sits in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). Nothing here reduces them.
The questions people actually ask before joining
Including the awkward ones. If the answer is "it depends on you", we say that rather than pretending otherwise.
Is Collective Shift legitimate?
Yes, and you do not have to take our word for it. Collective Shift Pty Ltd is an Australian private company, ABN 78 650 977 325, ACN 650 977 325, with an ABN active since 11 June 2021 and a main business location in Victoria. That record is public on the Australian Business Register. Beyond the registration, we publish a weekly disclosure of what every full-time employee holds, we maintain a public register of the only accounts we operate so impersonators can be identified, and we link every press credit and award to its source rather than showing you a logo.
Is a Collective Shift membership worth it?
That depends on what you would do with it, and we are not able to answer it for your circumstances because we do not assess them. What we can tell you is what you are buying: research and education, delivered by a named team who publish what they own, with a refund policy behind it. Independent reviewers rate us 4.7 out of 5 on Trustpilot, correct as at 9 August 2026, across a profile holding 125 reviews when we last read it on 3 August 2026, and those reviews include the critical ones. The free investment training is the cheapest way to judge the quality of the thinking before you pay for anything.
Are crypto memberships worth the cost?
Some are and most are not, and the difference is usually visible before you pay. Ask four questions of any paid crypto service. Does it disclose what its people hold? Does it take money to promote projects? Is the team named, or is it an anonymous account with a screenshot of a portfolio? And is there a refund policy you can actually read? A service that fails those four is selling access to hype. A service that passes them may still be wrong about the market, but at least you can see how it is being wrong.
Do you provide financial advice, or tell members what to buy?
No. Everything we publish is factual information only. It does not take your personal objectives, circumstances or needs into account and it does not constitute financial advice. We teach a research and portfolio process, and members apply it to their own situation. If you want advice about your specific position, that is a job for a licensed financial adviser and we will tell you so.
How do I join?
Membership starts with a call rather than a checkout. Book a strategy call, and we will use it to understand your goals, your portfolio and your experience. If a membership is a fit, we will walk you through which one and what onboarding looks like. If it is not a fit, we will say that instead.
Do your analysts hold the assets they write about?
Often, and they tell you which. Every full-time employee and content contributor discloses material cryptocurrency holdings, meaning any position worth AU$2,000 or more. The employee register is republished weekly with a change log, and contributor holdings are updated quarterly. Read any piece of research alongside the register.
