ETFs and Crypto ETFs

The ETF question is the one that brings mainstream investors to crypto, and this site has never answered it. Four pages are being written. Each one has a route and a place in the curriculum already, and none of them has its copy yet.

General information only. Nothing in this curriculum takes your objectives, financial situation or needs into account, and it is not personal financial advice. Crypto assets are volatile and you can lose money.

Where this sits

A Block Inside Buying and Entry, Not a Tenth Cluster

The curriculum has nine clusters. This is not a tenth one, and these four pages do not add a heading to it.

  • It belongs to cluster 3

Buying and Entry is the cluster about how money gets into an asset. An ETF is one of the ways it does, so these pages sit under that cluster and the cluster hub lists this block among what is built for it.

  • The definition already has a home

The glossary carries Exchange-traded fund (ETF) as a defined term. These pages are the longer form of the same subject, and they point at the glossary rather than repeating it.

  • The crypto slice, not the whole subject

General ETF questions are answered in Australia by the exchanges, the fund managers and the regulators, and this block does not try to take that ground off them. What it covers is the part that is ours: what a crypto ETF is and what to look at before holding one.

The Writing Is the Part That Is Missing

While these pages are being written, the free training covers the 7-step system on video.
